Skiing isn’t just a sport here, it’s a way of life. Nowhere else does skiing fit so naturally into everyday life as it does in Austria. Computer-controlled machines, precise measuring technology and a resolute focus on research ensure that we are able to make products of extraordinary quality.
We are currently working on research projects with TU Wien, UAS Technikum Wien, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and Holztechnikum Kuchl. And because we’re in constant communication with leading specialists from around the world, we always manage to remain on the cutting edge of technology – in material technology, processing quality and the surveying of our customers.
PHILOSOPHY
WE LIVE SKIING.
Unlike with highly industrialised ski companies, it is not enough for us to simply give our models a sense of innovation with a fresh – mostly neon-coloured – coat of paint. Instead we concentrate on manufacturing carefully tuned skis that impress with their dynamics, durability and workmanship.
We want to ride skis that feel lively and are not merely a copy of a lab-bred prototype. We’re looking for a ski that feels organic and can form a real unit with its user. A ski with character, heart and soul.
We create that visually with the wood grain, which is unique to each ski. In terms of handling, we achieve this through the solid wood core that runs from end to end. Because wood fibres never run in perfect symmetry – and perfect symmetry can never appear organic.
